Community
My entire life I have wanted a community of strong, beautiful and gobal women. A group from various cultures who have much to share and teach from their homes as well as have the ability to recognize all women share being women.
Through CLOTH I have found this community. The women who are working with CLOTH are strong, beautiful, wise and so much more. They are mothers, wives and friends. I feel privileged to enter their homes and hear their stories and share my own.
As our relationships grow, please stay connected to find out more about these women and where they come from, what their passions are and what amazing possibilities they bring into the world.
Thank you for joining the community.

Whooooooza!
The past few months have been a whirlwind. So much has happened to Oona and I since we first started discussing the possibilities that would lead us to CLOTH. Truthfully, I knew Oona and I were capable of a lot but I still can’t believe we pulled it off. Along the way we had our first fight (a minor disagreement regarding the possibility of world peace, can you believe that?), met amazing people and learned more about ourselves than I could have ever imagined. Around the age of 12 Oona and I became “blood sisters” (kids do not try this at home) and with a friendship like ours I never believed we could get closer, but that was before we became business partners.
I’m a little emotional right now, this week sent us a blow neither of us could have ever imagined and we’ve been working so much and so hard to make CLOTH right. It will be a relief to go to sleep tonight knowing the shop is up and running but the real work hasn’t even begun. As much as Oona and I love to create beautiful things, look good and have fun we started CLOTH to create social change and at the end of the day that’s how our success will be measured. We’ve got an unbelievable amount of work to do from this day forward but there isn’t another person in the world I’d rather do it with and another cause I’d do it for.
Good Night and Welcome to the CLOTH Life.

So close, yet so much more work to be done. Production is in full swing, website is getting the finishing touches and the shop itself…well there is still so much to be added. Only 4 days until the CLOTH Shop opens, the anticipation is killing me. ~Candance

FELA! I came across this clip today and wanted to share it with all of you. We absolutely adored FELA! The Musical, I hope it stays on Broadway for a long time and tours. If you’re in NYC, shame on you if you haven’t seen it ;) and for those of you planning to visit it’s a must see.

The Weight Of Sweetness
It hit me hard what we are up to when we take on CLOTH. You see, we aren’t just here to create products, to have fun, to own a business. We are here to transform the world, to make a difference, and leave others with the impact of our work; give them a piece of it to pass on in the world until it ends up in every corner of our space called earth, and beyond.
Though this starts in living rooms, coffee shops, and long conversations, it doesn’t end there. CLOTH has taken on a velocity unknown in those spaces. Its taken on a life of its own that dictates where it gets to penetrate, where it causes joy and peace.
Its a light/heavy load, the weight of sweetness.

8daysawk asked: Hey,
I wanted to take a minute to express my appreciation for this project. I think stories are really important; you eloquently expressed the power of understanding that the issue at hand is not knowing at all but rather not knowing the whole story together. I've been lucky enough to do some traveling during my college career so far too and i can honestly speak to that belief in learning people's stories.
How do i get my hands on some of those scarves? I would love to give them as gifts. I spent a semester in the middle east so Hijabs and scarves in general have a new meaning to me these days.
In solidarity and with Peace,
K. Cruz
First, let us say thank you. As much as we understand the power of this project, its such a joy every time someone expresses their appreciation.
The scarf is so powerful in many different cultures, which is why we chose it as a starting place. We too discovered this and the importance of storytelling during our worldwide adventures.
The online store will be open April 1st, that’s when you’ll be able to buy scarves for yourself or anyone else on your list. :)
Be sure to spread the word about CLOTH…
