Berbera Somalia, this is where Aminat Salah was born and raised. She lived in a house right on the beach for many years before fleeing to Kenya when the civil war broke out. I recently watched a video made on the beach of Berbera with Aminat and she excitedly pointed to the house where she used to live. The house is now an empty shell from fighting and neglect. Aminat dreams of her home everyday and wishes to go back.
