Chitown

Candance and I are finally together after a year of not seeing each other. I am in continual awe of the beauty of friendships that are so tightly sewn together that a certain aspect of time never escapes through the seems. I saw her profile from a distance in the airport and immediately felt like I had seen her the week before.

In Chicago we are catching up on the time that did sneak through those seems. We are also planning the next Five months of CLOTH and are quickly realizing that this is a lot of hard and strenuous work. We have many leads, but not all the connections are there. For example, we have an amazing photographer in Portland, but our look book needs to be shot in a city like Chicago or New York. Fly the photographer to the shoot you say? No money. To be honest, I am using financial aid from school and Candance is using EBay to come up with our first round of funding. (Perhaps insert you making a donation and we could get five extra yards of cloth or three pairs of sewing sheers).

But despite frustrations such as above, we are pushing forward. We are making this happen each moment and our lives are being changed with each new idea.
